As a group, service providers have not been immune to the global economic downturn, with the recent massive job cuts at BT being perhaps the most visible example. Some service providers are doing better than others, and several have posted strong Q3 performance. However, the current realities are impacting everyone, and by the time Q4 reports are out, they will have caught up across the board.
